The lives of the students are always расked with events, some serious, some not so! These of course include lectures, laboratory and practical work, as well as exams, but also holidays, meetings, concerts and dance parties.

The Student Union helps to make students' lives more eventful and interesting. It defends the rights and interests of students and renders financial support for the students of disadvantaged backgrounds as well as orphans, physically disabled students and students' families.

All the non-resident students of USATU are provided with accommodation in the dormitory. The nine buildings of the dormitories make up the student living area, which comprises a students' health centre, a sports complex and other social objects, thus enabling the students to spend their time in a rewarding way. The Student Council, comprising members elected by the students of the dormitory, run the administration in the dormitories.

We also have a football field, volleyball and basketball sports grounds, and a running track. Tournaments, contests, concerts and birthday parties are held every day, with winners receiving prizes and more.

The most picturesque area of the Pavlovskoye reservoir is home to the "Aviator" base. It's the ideal place to relax: alongside beautiful nature, fresh air, and a lovely sandy beach, where one can get a lasting tan. It's the perfect accompaniment to full time studying - a place where students can come together and revive themselves, and are able to feel energized throughout the year.

The University also has an assembly hall for 300 seats and a concert hall for 800 seats, which is home to a culturally vibrant range of events. Amateur artistic work is one of the main focuses of attention of the USATU students' club. Artistic groups and performers take part in various contests and festivals both in and outside Ufa."Students' Spring" has been a remarkable students' festival for a few decades already. The variety of genres of the amateur artistic work is great. There is also a students variety show theatre, a smaller theatre which accommodates numerous things including a ball dance studio, vocal singing and bard-songs band, rock- and rap- bands, the KVN team, calisthenics, and musical instruments (guitar and kurai).
